Venturu Launches AI Insights to Help Buyers Quickly Understand Small Businesses for Sale.

A U.S.-based startup called Venturu has just introduced a smart new artificial-intelligence feature that’s making it much easier for everyday people to understand the small businesses listed for sale on its platform. The tool, called AI Insights, automatically scans every listing across the United States and creates a clear, straightforward summary that explains the opportunity in plain, simple language—no spreadsheets or jargon required. It also gives each business a score out of ten, so potential buyers can quickly see how promising the deal looks at a glance. The AI looks at all the important details: profit margins, revenue multiples, lease terms, financing options, how complete the listing is, and even how fast the broker responds.

This update is aimed straight at one of the biggest headaches in buying a small business: many first-time buyers simply don’t know what to look for or how to read between the lines. The Venturu team says the AI is designed to give the same kind of helpful early guidance an experienced advisor would offer, saving everyone a ton of back-and-forth. Instead of spending hours answering basic questions, brokers and sellers can now focus on the serious conversations with truly interested buyers.

The new feature arrives alongside a fresh redesign of the whole platform. There’s now a beautiful interactive map where you can search and filter businesses in real time by type, price range, revenue, how the sale is structured, and whether financing is available. Individual listing pages have also been cleaned up to spotlight the key financial numbers right up front and make it incredibly easy to message sellers or brokers directly.

Since launching in 2025, Venturu has grown fast. The marketplace now hosts more than 4,400 verified businesses for sale and works with over 1,500 brokers in all 50 states, with roughly 1,200 people actively using the platform every day. The timing feels perfect. Right now about 10,000 baby boomers retire each day, and many of them own businesses without a clear succession plan. All told, experts estimate that around $10 trillion worth of small businesses will change hands in the coming years as this huge generational shift unfolds.

While AI tools like this are popping up more and more in online marketplaces, their real power comes down to the quality of the information sellers and brokers provide. Still, many in the industry believe these kinds of smart features could soon become the new standard, helping more people confidently explore the possibility of owning their own business and making the entire process feel a lot less intimidating.
